TYAOslo - performing arts residency

TYAOslo - A residency for everyone who works for performing arts for children and young people.

TYAOslo organised by ASSITEJ Norway in collaboration with NBAN will take place from 17th to 23rd of August in Oslo! 16 participants, two from each Nordic-Baltic Country will work together for a week and explore the theme “Care in Artistic Spaces.” What does it take to create and hold artistic spaces that invite young audiences to dream, reflect, and truly feel seen - especially when engaging with complex or challenging themes?

The program has been huge success and ASSITEJ Norway and NBAN received overwhelming amount of applications. Thank you for all application and the amount of work that was put into them!

The 2026 residency is led by an experienced theatre director, workshop facilitator and lecturer Vigdís Jakobsdóttir from Iceland.
