Pitch & Connect – Your Place in ASSITEJ

An online seminar for performing artists across the Nordic and Baltic countries

When? Thursday 12th November 2026 at 13-14.30 GMT / 14-15.30 CET / 15-16.30 EET
Where? Zoom

How do you communicate what makes your artistic work distinctive and find the people and platforms that can help it travel?

The Nordic-Baltic ASSITEJ Network (NBAN) invites performing artists interested in creating and presenting work for young audiences to an online seminar combining practical pitching skills with an introduction to international opportunities through ASSITEJ.

Day 1 – Sharpen your pitch and explore the network

Anne Cecilie Bodin Larsen from Jo Strømgren Kompani leads a one-hour pitching session exploring how to present your work clearly, communicate your artistic vision and spark interest among programmers and potential collaborators.

Ingvild Lien, Managing Director of ASSITEJ Norway, then introduces the ASSITEJ network and the opportunities it offers: festivals, artistic exchange, professional development and connections across borders. Learn how to find relevant entry points, build relationships and contribute to this international community.

Day 2 – Individual feedback on your pitch

A limited number of participants can book a 30-minute individual follow-up session with Ingvild Lien. Bring a pitch you are developing and receive tailored feedback on its clarity, focus and relevance to the people you want to reach.

Whether you are taking your first steps internationally or looking to strengthen existing connections, this seminar offers practical tools to help you articulate your work and explore where it could go next.
